Why you'll love it?
Bruno took over his grandfather at the family’s 16-acre domaine at the entrance of Vosne-Romanée. A pioneer in organic farming before the term became trendy, his grandfather never used chemicals or potassium fertilizers, preferring to use manure from his cattle. The average vine age is 55–70 years. With minimal intervention, the grapes are hand-picked, most are destalked though between 5% and 20% of whole bunches may be included depending on the vintage and the vineyard. Vinification is more an infusion than a maceration process, with no punching down and not much pumping over.

Tastes Like?

Ruby red colour. Slightly reduced aromas that opens to lovely aromas of violet, red berry fruit, red cherries, red plums and a hint of earthiness. Concentrated juicy palate lifted by vibrant acidity and red core fruit. Silky smooth but firm tannins with a seductively long finish. One of those wines you can sip on all night and slowly savour each drop. A wine that will age beautifully for a decade.
