Why You’ll Love It?
The Glenlivet Distillery was founded in 1824 in Banffshire, Scotland by George Smith. Selling more than 6 million bottles a year, it is the second most popular premium malt whisky in the world. The Glenlivet was the first distillery in the small Speyside region of northeastern Scotland and it was the brand that set the standard for all single malt whisky from the area. Known for its superior smoothness and perfect level of gentle peat, The Glenlivet of today remains unchanged from the day of its inception some two hundred years ago, with the three fundamental elements in the whisky-making process - spring water, copper stills and oak casks - remaining operational and in their original states to deliver the exquisite Glenlivet 18 Year Old.
Old gold. Fragrant, elegant, complex with a sweet oakiness leading to floral fragrances. Toffee notes, butterscotch, mint chocolate and summer fruit pie. Spices and bitter oranges, drying out on oaky notes. Lasting, oaky and gingery. Distant smoke.
