The Ten, created in 2010 by La Maison du Whisky, was conceived to serve as an initiatory range for Scottish whisky enthusiasts. With this in mind, the whiskies are ranked according to character, from lightest (00) to strongest (09) enabling to discover the ten key Scottish styles, from grain whisky to the most peated of malts from the Isle of Islay, not to mention the different Lowland, Speyside and Highland varieties.

Tastes Like?

A classic light, smoky Caol Ila bottled to showcase the Islay spiritin its purest form.

Smouldering embers, coal fire, damp oak, salted meats, hints of mixed peel. The palate is light and zippy but the finish is surprisingly long - you think it's over but it keeps coming.
