Moscatel Ambrosía is the only Moscatel produced by Bodegas Romate. The wine is late harvested and well sunned Moscatel de Chipiona, the type known as Moscatel de Pasas. Production is very limited as there are only five solera casks and the wine is only released at around fifteen years of solera age.

This naturally sweet wine is a bit older than most other Moscatels produced in the region. Perfect as a dessert wine served around 12-14°C to pick up most of the complexity, or chilled further for a more thirst-quenching experience on its own.

Nose offers aromas of dates, figs, treacle, caramelised sugar and raisins. Palate is sweet but well balanced with a good amount of acidity to avoid being cloying. Full bodied and luscious with loads of raisins, molasses, caramel and a toffee finish.  Perfect with chocolate fondant!
