With an ever increasing demand, the top Burgundies are becoming something of a rarity and almost impossible to procure. Why is this one place so special? With hundreds of years crafting only two grapes, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the Burgundian soil is rich with religion, power, politics and money. Despite the glamour, Burgundy is really all about small family-run operations and humble farmers who consider themselves "guardians of the land". 

Join us as we showcase these elusive wines from the some of the most sought after producers of Burgundy. Discover for yourselves the wines made by a woman they call the “grand dame of Burgundy”- Lalou Bize-Leroy, one of the most powerful women in wine, formerly at the helm of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and now Domaine Leroy. Experience six extremely limited wines from the region's superstar domaines such as Méo-Camuzet and Dugat-Py matched to a bespoke five course degustation by Bistro Guillaume Sydney.
