Ruby red with garnet rim. Nose is complex with aromas of red cherries, plum, dusty, earthiness, potpourri and a hint of allspice and fruitcake. Palate is medium bodied, vibrant with well balanced acidity and fine grainy tannins. Intense flavours of ripe cherries, raisins, prunes, tobacco leaf, liquorice, wild herbs and nutmeg.
