Why you’ll love it:
Frank Cornelissen has been heralded as one of the founding fathers of Etna wines. The Munjabel Bianco has evolved over the years with the 2015 vintage being produced without skin fermentation for the first time. Stepping away from the “orange” wine style in order to produce a wine that’s more elegant and expressive of its surroundings. There is still some skin contact pre-fermentation which adds extra layers of flavours, texture and aromas. This wine was produced from a blend of 50% grecancio dorator and 50% carricante. Grecanio has been known to have the same DNA as garganega from Soave (a late ripening tangy variety). The vineyards are located between 750m to 1000m above sea level with many ungrafted vines in the highest plots. No fining, so it's vegan friendly!
