Why You'll Love It?
Elio Sandri’s estate is located on ones of the highest hills of Monforte d’Alba. He’s one of those undiscovered winemakers whose winemaking philosophy is based on a minimalist, gentle approach, allowing the wine to express the terroir from which it is produced. His Barolos spend a minimum of 60 months slow ageing in large botti. “I am convinced that only the botti respect the wine’s terroir,” says Sandri, then a further 36- 48 months in bottle before he finally decides to release it.

Dark cherry, dried roses, earthy, gamey and savoury notes. Well balanced acidity, supple tannins, intensely concentrated nose and palate with great length and drive on the finish.
