Andre Clouet produce an exceptional range of grower champagnes that are rich, concentrated expressions of pinot noir that manage to retain elegance and finesse. The ‘No.3’ Grand Cru Rosé is simply magical. It’s made from 100% Pinot Noir, with 10% still red Pinot Noir blended into Blanc de Noirs base. The number was inspired by Coco Chanel’s No.5 and is André’s way of depicting the colour and body of the rosé on a scale of 1 - 10.

A wine making family of more than 2 centuries, the founder was a printer in Louis XV court of Versailles and the wines are cellared under the family’s 17th century village house. The style of the labels reflect this heritage.

After ageing and disgorgement, there was 6g/L of dosage. Incredibly balanced combination of fruit, texture and minerality that will only get better and better with time.

Tastes Like?
Like pink in colour with very fine beading. Wonderfully balanced nose with red fruit aromas of wild strawberries, red cherries, dried rose petal and citrus zest with a hint of brioche and chalk. Palate is full bodied and luscious with ripe wild red berries, rosewater, toastiness and minerality.

Must serve in an open mouth flute or a universal glass is fine. You will lose all the lovely aromas if you use a thin flute glass. Try one of our Zalto Champagne glasses.
